Lovely place! Been going here for years! I was given a free sample of clam because I have never had it raw. The clam raw was amazing in its own right. I cannot compare it to oysters. Although, the clam was a bit briny and the meat was very thick. I was unable to swallow the clam I had to chew a bit. The fishmongers are very knowledgeable and friendly. They engage in conversation and are open to questions. They have many fish so questions arise when it comes to cooking them.

The fish here are very fresh and I am assuming others are not. I got some Basa Swai fish. One fillet was fresh. The other was very fishy smelling. I'm assuming it was going bad. I was going to eat one fish but ended up cooking both. It tasted just fine after it was cooked. Whether it was safe to eat, I am not so sure.

I ordered scallops as well. They are very large and plump. It is much cheaper to purchase scallops here than they are in the grocery store. I understand not everyone has the luxury of coming out here but when you get the chance please do.

Parking is validated at the moment at 2 dollars. This makes the trip here a little easier and worth while. You can park under the newly constructed buildings. The garage is rather large. You can drive through parts of the Wharf. It reminds me of Italy a bit.
