RIP Arecibo
I visited the observatory in 1996 - so long time ago, yet I still remember how excited I was as a teen, for having the opportunity to visit there after seeing it in Goldeneye. It was an iconic building of our technological capabilities, such a shame that it was left "unattended" in terms of maintenance, which led to its ultimate demise a few days ago.
