I just want to pay my rent, man. Why does Wedgewood Apartments close up shop early every month when the rent is due? I rush home to try and beat the 5:00 p.m. close time that is posted on the door. I was there at 4:00 p.m. yesterday and today. This is not a new occurance. This has happened numerous times in the 18 months I have stayed here. I could be doing other thing. Grocery shopping. Drinks with co-workers. This is a waste of my time. I used to use the drop box until one month they lost my rent. Now I want a receipt every time. Is it too much to ask for an apartment manager to manage the apartments for the time posted on the door? I don't complain when she scolds all the tenants in letters every other month telling us how we're ruining the place. I didn't freak out when I left for work one day, and blood was smeared all over my car. I just want someone to be there when the rent is due. Am I asking for too much?
