I will start by saying this is the third move for my wife and I in the last 10 years. Most recently we were relocated to Denver for my job. Having a newborn and a 3 year old, balancing a new job responsibilities and relocating was a lot on our plate. Fortunately we found Jessica Whitney and the PorchLight Real Estate group and they were able to make finding a home easier than any other move we have made.

Jessica found the time on short notice to meet with me when I was in Denver on business and worked around my schedule to grab an hour here or there to discuss what my wife and I were looking for, ask a lot of questions about our priorities not only in a home, but what we wanted in a neighborhood and a town to live in. Her local knowledge (she has always lived in and around the greater Denver area) was a huge plus for us as we knew very little about this area of the country. She did A TON of prep work as we told her we were going to have to blitz the market and hopefully find something that met all of our needs in a short period of time. Prior to our house hunting trip, she educated us on the market trends and sent us properties that she matched to the criteria we provided to we could narrow the field a bit. She still arranged for us to see a number of homes over a 4 day period and was extremely patient as we weighed the pros and cons of the different homes and neighborhoods. She worked nights and weekends for us and we found the spot that was just what we wanted after all was said and done. It was hectic and could have stressed us out, but Jessica made it a fun and positive experience.

Beyond her real estate experience, her contacts/recommendations in Denver were were all A++; from our home inspector, mortgage lender to our home insurance broker, Jessica made it easy for us to make the transition from Chicago to Denver while working with local partners to keep us on track and in budget. If anyone I know is looking to relocate here, or even find a new home locally, Jessica Whitney is the first person I would have them call.
