Our kids (ages 7 and 4) had a great time here and we did as well. As parents it wasn't as overwhelming to keep track of the kids as places in Wisconsin Dells can be. All the water park is in one area. There is a big water park tree fort for younger kids that has fountains and slides, zero entry wave pool, several tube slides, and family raft slides. Lots of fun for the family. A couple nights there is enough. Several people we met said they were there for 5 nights and that was too much. The check in process was not quick and we got there right when check in was available, but upon check out you can stay in the water park until it closes so you can still get another full day of playing in.
We didn't do it, but they had a wizard game that you can buy wands for your kids to play the game all over GWL. My friend said they did it and you have to look for clues and complete missions. He said he didn't think it would be that great, but he was pleasantly surprised. He said it encouraged reading and problem solving and his kids got over 10,000 steps in during the day because they were walking everywhere looking for clues.
Overall, great spot to spend a few days with the kids. We got a little bit of a discounted deal by using Groupon, so that is worth checking out too. Have fun!
