You get what you pay for. All private colleges are insanely expensive these days and RIT is no exception for sure. But I am an alumni from 2010 and I have been back to campus many times since graduating for visiting and recruiting. Their IT and information security programs are world class. If you want to be targeted by the big names in high tech RIT is a good option. I still keep in touch with a number of my friends from college and I can say we are all doing pretty well for ourselves. We are still possibly paying off some of our student loans but many have paid off loans early. There sure are cheaper places but I really felt at home living on campus. I do not regret my decision going to RIT and I still today talk with people who wish they went to RIT because they have seen the world class skills graduates leave with.
