I used this business on two occasions, the first was to replace the brake shoes on my 1999 Navigator and check the air bag light that was showing on the dash. All the work was done to my satisfaction for just under $450.00
The second and LAST time was to check the ABS and Air Bag lights that was on a 99 Jeep Cherokee. He replaced the computer module for the air bag system. But could not get the light to reset and claimed to be having problems getting the computer to interface with his computer. Bottom line he could not guarantee me that the air bags would work if needed. I took the car to a dealership who found the problem to be a broken spring behind the driver air bag. Something the dealership computer found immediately and repaired the problem with a $189.00 part and $225.00 labor. 1 Decatur Pro Auto Repair charged me over $400.00 and totally mis-diagnosed the problem, offer no credit and simply stated he would do a better job next time assessing the problem.
I was ripped off by 1 Decatur Pro Auto Repair!
