The security staff is self-sufficient and arrogant. Non-dangerous everyday objects are declared dangerous and you are forced to give up your luggage for a lot of money. The question of where the danger lies was succinctly answered with "This is my decision", not to mention a printed regulation. The fact that the security staff can be misused as a revenue generator of a low-cost airline is a new dimension. Oh yes, it was about simple jumper cables, which are about as dangerous as belts, which was not objected. That's the level of a banana republic. In conclusion, one can only advise against flying only with hand luggage from Maastricht, because one is exposed to arbitrary rules of the staff.
