I left $500 in cash in a wallet that I left at one of my stays. The hostess admitted to having found my item. This was all documented on the airbnb email site, yet she was only willing to give it back through the mail. Since you can t send money through the mail, I complained to airbnb. This was over a month ago and nobody has returned my call. There is ALWAYS a case manager on the case, is always marked urgent and yet no return calls. In the meantime, Airbnb deleted every message I had and now they deleted my account! I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and am thinking of contacting a lawyer.
DON T USE AIRBNB!!
