We called multiple dealerships asked what price cuts we could get when making our entire purchase via cash purchase. They used their words to manipulate us into thinking they would do us the honor of throwing on a shield bra and including oil changes at ANY subaru dealers. Come to find out around 6 months later from a Brand new forester purchase, we're required to drive all the way from Millcreek to Ogden to get a simple oil change(~$50-$100 benefit). We asked over half a dozen times that the distance was a concern & we want to ensure we can make those benefits more convenient for our mother. They've reconfirmed how much we distrust & will NEVER buy NEW from dealerships--regardless if you're paying the total cash (via check) PLUS, the bra shield was for cars on the lot ONLY. So we came out with NO BENEFIT at all whatsoever. We're going to call to complain about getting the oil changes at a closer location as we have no other reason to drive to Ogden as Utah county would be more reasonable than BFE
