A grand relic. This is a beautiful, charming facility that is difficult to keep up. The staff is generally very nice and accommodating, the food tastes great, and the grounds are lovely.

The amenities that are actually available are very limited thanks to covid.

The website and communication of what is available are not kept up to date and leave much to be desired. Do not expect to have clear understanding of what is available by perusing the website or listening to descriptions of the facility.

The prices are outrageous, bordering on confiscatory with absolutely nothing "included" in the room or "resort fee." Parking is impossible unless you valet at a rate of $20/night. A Miller Lite is $6.50. The Holiday Inn free continental breakfast far exceeds the cost/benefit here.

Again, as a summary: nice people, beautiful history, deferred maintenance, expensive.
