Our family went there for 3 years every Memorial Day weekend but will not go back. This year we couldn't do to an updcoming family surgery. Their deposits are non-refundable and the only way you can transfer it is with a written note from doctor, automobile dealership etc., to transfer to a different date- then you have to pay a $20 + PLUS TAX transfer fee. We had planned on going Memorial Day weekend which is 2 months out so it wasn't like we were canceling or transferring dates at the last minute. You have to pay extra per night for every extra person. While the campground is clean there are many better or competiitive campgrounds in the area (KOA is really nice!) that do not hassel you when life gets in the way and you need to change your schedule. Their policies are ridiculous. Tremont is also more expensive.
