I waited a good 2 years before even considering posting my 2 sense for others to consider. I went with Toyota because they keep their value, they run forever, (if maintained), and I wanted a 6 cylinder SUV! I know now that I was a bit too excited, it showed, after working hard for several years, I decided to invest in a vehicle that I've come to love And needed at the time.... However, I now realize how I was pushed towards everything I said, I didnt realize at that time and they took advantage of me being naive, they used everything against me... I dont believe I'll ever consider that new of a vehicle again, and would not go there, because of this whole experience, tho I love the vehicle I purchased for the most part, i definitely would not go there for any other purchase!!! Anything you say they will use to persuade you, and at the end the finance guy even tries to get you as well! Oh you have to have extra coverage and the price of the car suddenly changes if you dont read the paperwork... (Pay Attention), very misleading and unprofessional! CON ARTIST! I wasnt happy about the experience when all was said and done. I realized most of later on down the line..... the excitement for my 1st brand new vehicle, I wasnt clearly thinking!!! Since, these issues, now having 2 year car maintenance coverage, I've returned for.... as needed! I didnt always feel like they did what they were supposed to do. Oil change, tire rotation etc... RECENTLY, I left with my spare tire low on air pressure, and another tire they pointed out that was low on pressure, the didnt bother to fill..I went to a tire shop a day after this occured!, after I was there with a blowout! They did nothing, cause filling air in a tire would take all of 1 minute! I didnt notice immediately being I was in a hurry, I have a life! Furthermore, they just threw my original tire in the back of my vehicle. On top of a few things mindlessly, and when I get back I realize I have a donut on my suv when I am 100% positive I had a full spare on an alternate rim under the car... the car I was underneath only a few hours before...I call to ask about this issue, and of course they didnt make any mistakes!!! I have never felt more taken advantage of in this kind of situation... I know their are alot of things that may be unimportant to others, this is my experience, I should have followed my instincts, from the beginning! I would not recommend anyone to purchase a vehicle from these kind of car salesman. New or used! In retrospect, I would've done alot more research, checked other options, went with a man because women have been taken advantage of in these situations all the time.... I have seen 1st hand waiting for my car, they sell to people who know no better. $100 For windshield wipers, you need right now!!! I cannot believe I was that gullible, $40,000 is alot of money... Like I said, these are my feelings, opinions, etc.... I would NOT recommend purchasing anything from Johnston's Toyota! I hope this helps the next person considering a vehicle... and your experience is Alot better than mine! God Bless!
