5 star for one of the most humbling experiences of my life. In the many years since WWII, the whole thing has become somewhat unreal through film and passing of time. The Anne Frank story brought back the real horror of those times and the futile waste of life by a despotic regime. Seeing and being in the tiny cramped Annexe (you need to be reasonably fit and limber to use the super steep stairs even) was haunting, disturbing and humbling.
