My experience with Vivant has been great as it relates to the set up and service by technicians. However, the billing department and the customer service have been the absolute worse! They billed my account for more than 4 times my monthly rate, and then told me that it was a mistake. They were supposed to reimburse me the money and 3 months later I have not received a check. I was actually told by the customer service rep that since I had automatic draft, they can draft my account at any time and for any amount. I would have cancelled the service after this incident, but they have me locked into this contract.

When I have had technical difficulties with the system and called customer service, they have failed to communicate with the service technician. Therefore when the technician gets to the house, they have not been fully prepared to address the issue.

The response time and the monitoring have been great. That has been the only saving grace in this relationship.
