This is a historical hotel in Surabaya. The most luxurious hotel in colonial era name Oranje Hotel and to be change Yamato Hotel when Japanese occupation Netherlands Indie (Indonesia). That name was change to Madjapahit Hotel after independence of Indonesia. In Indonesian history that site became famous for Dutch flag tearing event
which began the battle of Surabaya november 1945.
