I've stayed at this only 5 times previously, and always had nice stay, room perfect, but on my recent stay at the hotel, my room reservation was given away due to 'no show' policy of the hotels, because the flight I was on was severely delayed and I arrived at the hotel around 05:00, but in the past I've checked in at 02:30 or 03:00 or later, due to flight arrival times, but when I checked in, reception offered me a upgrade, (at half price) even though the hotel had already downgraded me from my original reservation that I had made, resulting in having to pay again for my downgraded room, but to be fair, the hotel did offer me a upgrade the day before I was due to check out, so I saw know point accepting the upgrade, but that was only offered after I left a compliment feedback, if the hotel wanted to treat their guest fairly, they should of offered me free upgrade when I checked in, also it be useful for hotel guest to know if doubletree hotel would put a time frame in for 'no show', after all, hotel as it for checkin and check out times.
