Trying to keep this brief. Ebuyer simply has the worst customer service I have come across. The following review contains nothing but facts (you can make your own mind up).
Placed an order on ebuyer for an additional 8gb of corsair vengence RAM, the order went through just fine. First problem arises - the tracking number for delivery provided didn't work and I had to contact ebuyer to get the correct tracking number.
They use Yodal for delivery who are notoriously bad anyway. I checked my tracking on the delivery day at around 3pm to find that Yodal supposedly tried to deliver 2 hours earlier and had left a card. I had the product delivered to my business address knowing I would be there all day. Yodal had obviously not tried to deliver. i contacted Ebuyer who said I needed to contact Yodal as it was their problem. So I did. Yodal service was surprisingly good, they told me the delivery driver had made a mistake and the GPS puts him no where near the correct address. They adreed to arrange redelivery to my home address for the following day but I would need to contact ebuyer to get a refund of the next day delivery fee I had paid.
I contacted ebuyer and explained what had happened. At this point the lady I was in contact with told me she would need to contact Yodal to find out exactly what they had said to me as THEIR tracking showed the delivery driver at my exact location. A little while later she came back and agreed to refund my delivery cost but told me very sternly that Yodal were breaking their contract in agreeing to get my parcel to me at a different address. This argument went on over several emails. Ebuyer informed me that they had stopped the delivery, and it was either my business address or nothing. I wasn't going to be at my business address for a few days so asked them to arrange for Yodal to return the parcel to Ebuyer instead and I asked for a refund.
I was told again very harshly and sternly that Ebuyer would not be refunding me until they have recieved the returned item. Again this argument went on for several emails where I tried to explain that the item had never even reached me, it was now on the way back to them because they refused to allow Yodal to deliver to me and that I wanted my money back. The final email I got from Ebuyer stated very clearly 'We will not be refunding you'
Fast forward several days - still no refund from Ebuyer.
My opinion - Ebuyer do not deserve my custom and certainly don't deserve yours. Their customer serve is terrible and their policy of stopping couriers from actually delivering their products it's mindboggling. I'll be shopping elsewere from now on.
