1. Room was visibly worn - ripped curtain, missing wall art, stained carpet, damaged furniture, tub and tile surround in poor condition.
2. Slow but courteous service.
3. No room service or in-hotel dining options. Dining options in immediate area a lacking. Many restaurants in area appeared to be out of business.
4. Good location.
5. Room was spacious, especially for NYC.
6. No idea why this hotel has 4* rating.
7. In-room phone was non-working.
8. Long line for checking into hotel.
9. Nicer hotel options available in area for similar price.
