Hotel is overpriced for the area. Offers Business style hotel devoid of anything and is surrounded by better options. The Noveau Vague styling is typically sterile and lifeless. Obviously taylored to Japanese Leisure travellers, but wrapped in Business Haute luxury that it is undeserving of. I stayed here to be close to work, but given how Farang are treated in comparison to their Asian clients ; won't again. The onlu request I made of staff was asking for a late check-out so I didn't need to hold bags / checkout before heading to office and returning at lunch time to catch my flight - was denied. Obviously due to lack of status with the Chain. I was lied too that it was due to full occupancy. Checkout of 11am being extended to 1pm wouldn't have affected cleaning roster. Stay at the Amir or the Rose which are right next door and don't enforce all the business chain trappings like early pool closures and absurd off local economy pricing.
I also forgot to mention that when we requested a meeting room previously in the evening, the concierge couldn't accommodate us. Saying the flloor was closed. Also no drop in rooms, or office/business facilities such as white-board were available. Further to this it was suggested we would need to pay for this 'unavailable' business space.
