As everybody said here, an overpriced museum. Old simulators, hopefully they can upgrade them to a high definition so that they can be more realistic. The tour across the labs, and control center let me see and understand why the NASA cost so much: waste everywhere. Talking about manufacturing concepts NASA really needs to start a Six Sigma Lean Manufacturing program across all of their operations instead of charging so much for the entrance. I am pretty sure that Lean and 6S could lead to avoid big amount of money wasted and also avoid the tragedies of the Challenger and the Columbia. If they want to continue on the space exploration, they need to be more cost effective so reducing wastes is essential and 5S is a good start. Now I know that NASA went to the moon because the excessive money expended and not because they were a very efficient team. At least I hope the Lunar rock that we are allowed to touch is cleaned and disinfected everyday and is not black because all the grease and dirty of the people who touched it.
