Ok, If I was a teenager I would probably review this differently but I went as a family unit comprising of 3 adults & 4 children aged 5-11.
Date of visit was 25th August 2014 (Bank holiday monday), it was raining heavily.
On arrival I was pleasantly surprised that the somewhat queue filled narrow entrance was dealt with relatively quickly, it was from this point you began to realise that any information or questions you may have visiting for the first time could only be answered by reading the various signage, with no help or information being offered by any of the staff.
The changing rooms are the bare minimum required but sufficent.
Apart from a map at the end of the changing rooms you have no clue as to what is actually on offer or where, and you can miss the map since you are kept busy ensuring you have lost no-one as you attempt to find something to do.
I took my youngest into the trainer pool which in itself is 1 metre in depth, too deep in my opinion for small children. The life guard in this room would be unable to tell you if someone was drowning as he spent the whole time looking at some literature whilst talking on a phone.
The flume queues in fairness although long did move through quickly but you always had a "hemmed in" feeling. Similar I guess to cattle before they are slaughtered.
The complex overall has a "well used" feel which coupled with the lack of initial information and disinterested staff makes you feel a bit let down.
Even the staff member tasked with cleaning the changing room floor quite happily let over 15 of us wait whilst he took over ten minutes to mop less than half a square metre of floor, completely oblivious and unapologetic that the only reason it took so long is because he had no interest in the task.
But these are things which irritated me and tbf, there seemed to be plenty of people enjoying themselves, only equalled by the ones shivering looking lost and confused!!

so IMO to summarise.
Cost - Good
Customer service - poor
Attraction age group - 10yrs - 35yrs, older without young children
Overall feel - old and cramped
Would I love it if I was a teenager? - probably although the concentration factor is probably limited to around 3 hours.

Not the worst place but not for parents with young children to look after, especially as you can't go down the slides together.
