The 4 * hotel is overrated! Even the area around the hotel is depressing: from the terrace I looked directly at the black, dirty roofs of an old, disused fish factory, instead of - as expected - sea or. Old town view!

When it rains (which is not uncommon in Portugal, in springtime) the balconies are flooded with rainwater; they are closed on the sides with a kind of grille and the like. Have direct contact with neighbors on the balcony, unfortunately, no necessary intimacy (go out on the balcony to get some fresh air, there is your neighbor next to you, whom you have to greet ...).
The walls are thin, the beds - old, the resulting acoustics - excellent: you can hear the squeaky beds of the pleasant neighbors.
