Stevenspass has been my Go-To mountain in Washington for 15 years. I have been a seasons pass holder in the past and have loved the mountain. I will say though, ever since Vail has acquired Stevenspass, I have noticed a few unfortunate things. Of course, Vail has brought on several positive aspects like future projects to upgrade lifts & and I am sure they will be making the resort nicer. However, they have brought on many negatives. The prices have SKYROCKETED. You are paying nearly $100 dollars at the window, and maybe $80 if you get your ticket in advance. This is about the same price as going to whistler, which is 6 times the size of this place. Night skiing is over 40 dollars now as well. We are talking about a resort that used to offer night skiing as low as $20 dollars on black friday and under $30 if you had an "advantage pass". No Deals like this ever show up anymore. They got rid of the Costco tickets, Advantage Pass, Tickets at REI & no black friday deals. They also got rid of the machines that automatically senses your pass and lets you through and gone back to hand scanning passes? Seems like they have regressed with technology and chosen a less efficient process. It has really gone from my favorite mountain, to just another over priced Vail resort.
