My wife and I took our two sons here, mainly because of our oldest son's ( age 7 ) almost lifelong love and admiration of the sport. I myself remember watching many a race after getting home from church. But I digress.. We weren't exactly sure what to expect from our visit to the NASCAR Hall of Fame, but believe me when I say that it quite literally AMAZED US. We spent hours absorbing the brilliantly displayed cars, equipment, and the huge assortment of historical memorabilia and records. There is so much to do and to see, that I wish we had allotted more time to stay. If you have been trying to decide whether or not you should go, trust me, GO!
