One of the best hotel stays I've ever had, staff were attentive and helpful without being intrusive. The location is an oasis in the storm that is Surabaya. Some of the room fittings were a little idiosyncratic but that adds to the old colonial feel. Most of the buildings are >100 years old and it shows. I can stay in skyscrapers anywhere in the world. This place has colonnades surrounding beautifully kept gardens - stunning.
I'd definitely stay here again if I'm back in Surabaya.
