Amazing. Brings back many memories of how things used to be. Not a bad truth be told. The day was really good, plus you could actually get A worth while brew of tea or coffee on the train, that actually was really good. Plus if you wanted to. You could slide the little window open, remember those?, and get A memory whiff of the heated steam that whizzed back past your carriage. The scenery was Loverly, and you could get off the train at any of its two stops and do your own thing. As it's only A 19 mile track one way out and one way back. Plus there is A regular hourly service until knocking off time. You really have to admire and respect exactly what these dedicated volunteers have achieved through hard graft and public support via generous donations. This really is A magnificent salute to those volunteers who through pure determination and dedication, have kept A little of our her stage FULLY operational for the benefit of all of us, young and old. THIS seriously knocks those geek thumb twitching games out of the ball park folks. Why? That's simple...these are REAL trains driven by REAL people, and it's an education worth experiencing isn't it ladies and gents? As there is no substitute for the real Mcoy.
