Upon graduating from college, I was in a predicament many of my peers face: graduate school, medical school, or work? After deciding on the latter, I faced another obstacle when I had trouble finding a good job in my chosen field, biology. Thankfully, my luck soon changed, and I chanced upon Whitman Associates. Within a few days of interviewing, I was placed in a temp-to-permanent position with great growth prospects. And now, after only a few months on the job, I know that I absolutely love what I do and can't wait to develop further within the company and industry. Although I m not where I planned to be, I m where I want to be. If I could give one piece of advice to any recent graduate, it s to not be dead-set on a field of study, and to be open-minded towards potential career paths. If you do, you might find a great opportunity, just like I did.
