I worked with Alexis and Dave while trying to find work after taking some time off from the financial world to try entrepreneurship. Despite my time off from the industry, they believed in my prior experience and worked very hard to try to find me a role. In the search process, Alexis was very diligent with calling me often about new positions that would come up and discuss each opportunity with me confirming if it was somewhere I wanted them to send my resume to. For awhile I was almost speaking to her daily about new possibilities and updates on anything they had sent my resume to. For interviews landed they did a pre-interview prep which I felt was helpful as they have experience working with the hiring managers and were able to give me a heads up on the employer's personalities and interview questions. As a result, they were able to find me a position where I have currently been working at for a few months. Alexis still calls to check up on how everything is going. I enjoyed working with her a lot and will definitely use Northbound again once this assignment ends. In general a job search is not a fun process but she definitely made it easier and worked harder to find me work than any other recruiter I had spoken to from many other companies.
