I'm a driver and recently purchased a new 2019 vehicle so I could drive more hours for uber without worries. I supplied the info required to uber ( insurance, registration) and learned it takes 2-4 hours for approval. That was 4 days ago. I've called driver support 3 times only to be told " be patient " and that they could not do anything for me. I drive for Lyft also and the approval came in about 10 minutes. I'm expecting Uber's driver appreciation movement is all lip service. Waiting for Uber to be in the national news soon......again.
