I have had the luxury of having secretarial and administrative support for more than 35 years, and have always insisted on the best, because after all, that person is an extension of what I do. From running multi-million dollar corporations, to a small nonprofit, the criteria is the same. So, when I needed a temporary assistant for the week of our nonprofit gala, I called Whitman Associates, Inc. in Washington and happened to speak with their VP of Marketing. I told her what I needed, and what that person would be doing. Now, while I would ordinarily want to interview that person in advance, Julie told me that she had the perfect person, so I relied on her. When Rachel arrived, she immediately dug in with smarts, efficiency, and initiative. She needed very little direction and no supervision. Julie was right. I recommend Whitman Associates highly and I will never use anyone else in Washington other than Whitman Associates. They are, quite simply, the best.
