We booked a courtesy block of rooms for our wedding and their billing process was a nightmare. The wedding party had their rooms and tax covered by my husband and I with our credit card. When check-in rolled around, we we're charged for incidentals without being asked, when we agreed to just tax and room as discussed in advance with the sales manager. With many other rooms, the front desk insisted the wedding party pay for their rooms with different catds than what was on file, so wedding guests bank accounts were charged for the entirety of the room costs when they were ONLY supposed to be charged for any incidentals they used. Many guests, my husband, and myself were late to the rehearsal dinner because of this mess and we were still trying to resolve these issues the day of and day after the wedding.
The sales manager who drew up the contract was little help in resolving anything.
I appreciate the front desk manager and housekeeping staff for assisting my mother when she fell, but very few of our guests had an enjoyable stay there on what was already a nerve-racking weekend.
Perhaps this hotel is a great stayover if you're booking for yourself, but think twice before booking or courtesy blocking a sizable group with this hotel.
