Absolutely amazing. We took a 7 month old child around in a baby carrier, which was hard work on the steep stairs but absolutely worth it. Unless you've no humanity, you can't fail to be moved by this place. If you're in Amsterdam it's a must visit. Book well in advance though, don't expect to turn up on the day and get in as it's very popular.
