Chessington is skewed more towards young children as it has plenty of child friendly rides, some will require adult an accompanying them. I saw most rides minimum height restrictions were around 0.9meters.
There are a few rides for the older or more daring children which should keep the older kids happy and adults.
There are a few parks and a soft play for the kids to run around in to let off some steam.

Chessington has a reasonable size zoo with an aquarium which exceeded my expectations both with size and quality. Luckily we picked a quiet day to go so queuing for rides wasn't an issue. All in all an enjoyable day out and would go again.
