Review of Airbnb

I used AirBnb, mostly as a host, for about 3 years. One day a German couple, Airbnb guests, flooded my kitchen by accidentally putting dish SOAP in my dishwasher instead of dish DETERGENT. There was ~$10,000 of damage to my wooden kitchen floors, from an estimate. Airbnb refused to cover the damage to my home. AirBnb suggested I make a homeowner's insurance claim, instead of honoring their "host guarantee." That made me furious. Then Airbnb started to ignore me for weeks.....Making me wait on hold......Making me wait for email responses......... Airbnb didn't know they were dealing with @thefakelawyer. I served and then sued Brian Chesky, CEO of AirBnb by sending a process server to this location, 888 Brannan St. in SF. I used LA county's small claims court to challenge their refusal to pay the damage for the "host guarantee."
The security guard at this address was not happy about accepting service so the process server had to do a "drop serve." Many people will tell you you cannot sue AirBnb. Not true. You just have to "drop serve" them and you can use this official office HQ location to serve them, 888 Brannan St. You can list the defendant as "Brian Chesky DBA AirBnb." That's how I sued them. Check the judgement I got for proof. After AirBnb paid the court judgement they banned me from the site forever. I sued them for the moral principle, not for the actual money. For questions on how to sue AirBnb if you have a dispute please contact me on twitter, @thefakelawyer. Thanks and good luck.
