Thank you to Coconino Country Sheriff's department...

Thank you to Coconino Country Sheriff's department for agreeing to have a 'no lights and sirens' policy as much as possible... especially the sirens part. After seeing New York City reduce their use of lights and sirens by 300,000 calls per year, and other cities also halting use of lights and sirens as they have been proven to actually increase collisions with emergency vehicles, especially in wet, rainy or snowy weather conditions when drivers panic. I appreciate this as a downtown resident as well... and of course, use them when necessary, we appreciate what you do and we know you're out there saving lives, thank you!
