Stayed for one night in this hospitable hotel within cycling distance of Groningen, located in a beautiful green and quiet area. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a nice, reasonably spacious layout with a beautiful well-maintained Wellness facility with swimming pool, steam bath, foot baths, fitness room and relaxation area. The rooms are clean and comfortable with well-lying box springs. The furniture may be slowly in need of replacement and some minor maintenance is needed in the hotel, but this is hardly worth mentioning. In the morning we enjoyed a delicious and extensive breakfast buffet (from fresh fruit to pancakes and from croissant to spreadable brie). This hotel is highly recommended if you want to visit Drenthe or Groningen (city).
