I graduated more than five years ago. I really don't understand why UTA always call asking for donations. My expensive college tuition wasn't enough? You built a brand new activity center, brand new parking garage, brand new gym with my tuition. Now you want an olympic pool, too?Money hungry!

In general, colleges now are not like true schools. They compete with each other for the best amenities. They charge an arm and a leg to provide you with the amenities but don't care if they hire quality professors to teach you.

They had so many foreign professors when I was in undergrad in COBA. English was not the first language for a lot of the foreign professors. The dean doesn't care if you complain because they got better things to do than to deal with students complaining about under performing professors. They'll also tell you it's up to the students to study. If we wanted to teach ourselves, we would have signed up for online classes. Lecture classes should provide us with quality lectures in English. It's hard enough to understand Accounting and Finance, adding in language and social barrier makes it super hard to understand anything. The evaluations that you do in classes does not count because they don't read them. The foreign professors will be there every year after you.

Do yourself a favor, REMOVE MY NAME FROM YOUR CALLING/MAILING LIST ASKING FOR DONATIONS NOW! I DONT ASK YOU FOR HELP TO PAY FOR MY STUDENT LOANS SO DONT SEND ME STUFF ASKING FOR DONATIONS. RIDICULOUS!
