I went with our 6 year old little boy today and we both had a lovely time, in particular all of the staff we came across were incredibly friendly and accommodating. On arrival the smiley lady doing the bag check told us about art workshops for children and duly directed us to the main info desk and within 15 minutes we eagerly began an activity centred around designing and decorating a white fabric glove a small a way to celebrate the signature symbol brandished so wonderfully by Michael Jackson, linking relevantly to the exhibition within the gallery. Our son loved the 90 minute session which began by researching the beautiful Tudor gallery on floor 2 and discussing the symbolism within many of the works. All in all a really fascinating visit and we will definitely head back there soon for more. The staff delivering the workshop were wonderful and developed such a rapport with the children and parents.
