My review is based on a recent visit to UCLH for an operation my son had. The staff (doctors, nurses, carers etc) were all very friendly. My son did not feel nervous or tense at all, mostly due to the kindness of the staff and the care they took throughout the day in making sure he was OK.
There's a small cafe with reasonable coffee and snacks.
The facilities (bathrooms) were not kept so tidy.
