This hospital tries, and fails, to care for people...

This hospital tries, and fails, to care for people with legitimate emergencies. Just because you are not taken to the hospital in an ambulance does not mean it is not an absolute emergency. But the staff here do not seem to understand this. I understand that other people can have life threatening injuries, or pain on levels of agony that need to be treated. Recently (literally today) my girlfriend and I visited the hospital because she woke up literally screaming in agony due to a pain in her side. She compared the pain to being stabbed, but not just to say it was a sharp pain compared to blunt, but rather the pain of actually being stabbed. Not that long after our arrival, the pain had escalated to where she was on the floor crying and screaming. Something that is well considered embarrassing, if it is faked, but this was very real. The employees in the waiting room (front office, as of today around 1:50pm December 18th, 2020, for the company account that s likely to tell me to file a complaint, let s see if you even actually read the reviews) literally told her to get off of the floor and stop what she was doing, just because she was making a scene. She couldn t help it, and she darn well wouldn t have been in the floor if your sorry butts would actually have helped people in dire need of assistance and put them in an examination room. Maybe your waiting queue wouldn t be so backed up if you actually tried to get people examined and determine if the issue is fatal, treatable, or both. Honestly, I can t believe the treatment the ill and injured receive here. Next to none, but if you re lucky enough to catch them on a active day you might just figure something out. Regardless of how backed up you are, your hospital is huge, and I know the process. People get moved out of the ER rooms and into the patient rooms within 6-24 hours of their presence depending on their situation. Regardless, I was not the only one who experienced the same issue. A man I met there today was literally folded in half at work, and though he was but 50 he moved as though he was 90 with arthritis. In pain, very life threatening, but they didn t even bat an eye. 6 hours+ many people sat there, with no treatment, no check up, only blood drawn for nobody to come back with results.

TL;DR- If you think you may pass, find a better hospital. At least, if dying in a waiting room surrounded by many in similar situations as you isn t on your agenda for the day.
