I m a 69 year old retired nurse & made a self referral to the Norman Parathyroid Center. This was the BEST thing I did for myself. My doctor didn t believe I had a parathyroid problem but I did after reading all the information from NPC.

The office staff is incredible & very helpful through the entire process. Dr. Ruan called & said that I was approved for surgery & answered all the concerns/questions I had.

Kathy gave me several dates for the surgery & after talking with my travel agent, I had the surgery date scheduled. She also helped me select the hotel that is pet friendly. We stayed at the Hampton Inn & it was wonderful. They arranged Uber rides to & from airport, for COVID testing & to Tampa General Hospital for surgery.

Everyone I met the day of surgery was so kind, professional & relieved any anxiety I had. Dr. Ruan removed 3 1/2 hyperplasia parathyroid glands. He is so knowledgeable, caring & reassuring. After reading his bio, my husband quit asking why we were going to Tampa for my surgery!

Thanks to Dr. Ruan and the entire team, I m on the road to a full recovery. There are no better words to hear, you are cured!! After two days, the fatigue, headaches & heart palpitations are gone. I feel like my old self and don t have that horrible sick feeling any longer.
