Dominika Kozio Review of Hotel La floresta - Hotel Card...

We spent 2 weeks at Hotel Floresta in August 2020, family stay, 2 children (9 and 13 years old), AI version. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, we felt safe here and we came back home refreshed and relaxed (although this is of course not only the merit of the hotel :-). The hotel is excellently located - in a quiet and peaceful area (although the hotels around were closed this year) and only a street separates it from the wide, sandy beach; Right next to the property there is a Spar supermarket, several taverns and souvenir shops. The hotel has been refurbished for the 2020 season so everything - rooms, restaurant, lobby - is fresh, clean and new. The apartments are really spacious, functionally furnished, only a sofa as an extra bed, not very comfortable (you had to not give the wonderful beds in the bedroom to the children :-)). Air conditioning worked flawlessly, free WiFi in the room limited to 2 devices. Rooms cleaned daily with towels changed, linen changed every few days. Everywhere a clean, well-kept garden, only sunbeds and plastic tables by the sunbeds would require more frequent cleaning. Food tasty, plenty of choice, trays and platters were refilled even 10 minutes before the end of serving meals. In the restaurant, the only restrictions resulting from the sanitary regime were face masks, the obligation to disinfect hands (automatic dispensers everywhere) and marked directions of movement. It was by no means bothersome so you could tell the buffet was functioning as usual. Likewise the pools. The guests are mainly Germans, a lot of Spaniards and Poles, some English. However, we did not notice, as someone wrote in an earlier review, favoring other nations, on the contrary - we got, like other Poles from our stay, a room in probably the best location. Friendly, nice and helpful staff, but not overbearing. We would especially like to highlight Mr. Lacen, Mr. Herbert and Mrs. Monnet from the restaurant, Mr. Blas from the bar and Mrs. Ruth from the reception. And Mr. Animator (whom we called Enjoy, because he wore a T-shirt with such an inscription, and it suited him perfectly), who often made us laugh to tears, especially on the Movie Quiz. Greetings from Poland, Amigos :-).
