One of my children was recently admitted on a 72 hour hold which turned into a 11 day inpatient stay. Needless to say, there were significant mental health concerns to be addressed. Not having any experience with this kind of thing, I didn't know what to expect. I have to say, the staff at Peak View was highly professional and competent. They communicated with me, often calling 3-4 times per day about how my child was progressing and what the treatment plan is. Their billing department is also fair and reasonable about a payment plan for the (significant) portion of the bill that insurance doesn't cover. After discharge, my child was placed into their outpatient program where he has continued to improve. My only small complaint is that the different departments don't necessarily seem to communicate between themselves very well. This is a minor concern however. I would recommend Peak View for anyone needing mental health support.
