I have been going to Jessie Taylors for over 25 years. My family would go to them for years since I was a little girl. Sad to say after today I will not be coming back. They are ripping people off now. I don't know if they have new management or what. They are weighing the half bushel crabs in milk crates on scales. They said they weigh them now. It does not add up to a half bushel. I left with 2 dozen and the half bushel was $70. My crabs were not even filling the box halfway. I called the manager Ryan. He said half bushel is 4 dozen and he would fix the order and to come see him. When I get there he acts clueless as if he didn't tell me any of that like he forgot our conversation completely. Tries to sell me the half bushel at a discounted price and charge me for it. Only offers to give me 1 dozen. I will never come back ever again. My family won't either and another patron today said the same thing. If you know crabs then you know what's in a half a bushel and that it's not weighed. It goes by dozen. Its 12 crabs in a dozen.
