Drinks on the patio on arrival. Great view down the hill to Rutland Water.

Room was exquisite. Surprise gifts waiting.

Both meals were top class. Tasting menu was divine (make sure you are hungry!)

Breakfast in room a birthday treat. Downstairs breakfast treats are plentiful.

As good as the hotel is the staff are the stars. We felt like long lost friends. Take a bow everyone!
