It takes alot of courage for someone to seek help for substance abuse. I went to peakview to get help. During my assessment the person interviewing me proceeded to tell me they have an opioid abuse treatment program but don't have treatment for heroin abuse. Then when I told her heroin is infact an opioid she told me it wasn't.... I dont have a medical degree but it definitely is. Then she told me to wait in the waiting room she had to talk to her boss. She came out and said "oh sorry it is an opioid but we cant help you. Heres a number to an outpatient facility." Why on earth would you state on your website you do treat people with opioid abuse issues when you don't and clearly your staff doesn't even know what an opioid is! People do not seek treatment here. There staff is clearly incompetent and lazy. They arent intrested in helping you. I was actually a patient here a year ago for mental health and when I was there I was the only one that was intrested in my treatment plan. I actually came up with it. I should have known better but my insurance is the reason I tried coming back. Big mistake. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. STAY AWAY!
