Taser is the better alternative than to draw a fir...

Taser is the better alternative than to draw a firearm for the use of Deadly force on an Officer's part, however there are taser deaths that are occurring and causing "undo suffering" , brain damage or death. I understand taser is to be used as a defense tool, but it should NOT be used as a compliance tool. With this being said. It needs to be re-designed all together AGAIN. This means that when a taser is fired, the operator should NOT be able to continue to deliver electricity once the cartridge is fired. All too often peace time officers are ABUSIVE with such tools and cause heart failure or brain damage of the subject they are trying to force to "comply'. That is NOT how this should be. If the officer feels the system was NOT effective, they should have to RELOAD the taser and re-fire. Yes, it may cost a lot more money, but it can be the difference of a vegetative subject leading to ruined lives, and lawsuits that both Taser and departments face, or a tool that successfully works. I say this because there are all too many times where Tasers are used for the mouthy subject on a traffic stop, the peace time officer thinks he/she has the right to zap the pee right out of someone because they wouldn't listen. Well they continue to zap the subject and cook their heart or brain. To me, that is where I draw the line in the sand and suggest THIS to taser.

So how should this new system work? Well it should work just like an electrical Fuse does, This means that for the just a few seconds, the fuse holds out from the amperage and then it severs from the resistance in that small wire. The same should go for a taser cartridge, a wire inside similar to fuse material should allow just enough time for the unit to function, and then a new cartridge should have to be loaded in for a second time. If the subject is still rendered incapacitated, well then, you have some stuff to learn. If taser is NOT willing to even listen to this advice, than they are just as guilty as the operator that did NOT responsibly use it, and should soak up the costs for Neurological surgery, as they FULLY knew well and clearly their tool has major design flaws that are NOT addressed.
