Having read through many of the reviews across both TripAdvisor and google it s clear that feedback is ignored and not really welcomed.
Many comments about sticky tables - ours was extremely sticky. Comments relating to overpriced degustation menu and the offering, ours was a similar experience. The combination of food just does not work on this rotation and I feel regardless of which rotation is offered the food quality and presentation is lacking and needs some serious attention. Chatting with other diners who shared their similar experiences with last nights menu it was concerning to not be asked by one staff member how was your meal . My only assumption is that they would be inundated with negative feedback which they Chef is not open to. $85 per head for food that was bland and over cooked. Kangaroo and Beetroot dish was lacking a main ingredient- Kangaroo. We were lucky to find two small pieces.
Pork belly was over cooked and had no crackling. Crackle from a packet which was tasteless and added nothing to the meal.
Dessert - epic fail, small pieces of cut up melon with coconut yogurt slapped on top.
Wine was the stand out for the evening and the ice cream we stopped to buy on our way home to finish off the night.
