I went into the ER with hives from head to toe, dizzy, throat swelling. My right eye was swollen, it was very obvious that I had hives. I was made to wait for 30 minutes before even being seen by a nurse. When I was, they gave me a bunch of medicine and left me in a chair in the back. After my swelling finally went down, I asked a different nurse if I could go home yet. She then looks in my chart and says that there are no orders for medicine and definitely not charted that they gave me anything. So now we are hours into a severe allergic reaction and haven't even seen a doctor. The nurse I talked to got me discharge papers. She never re checked my vitals. Gave me a bunch of medicine for a severe allergic reaction and did not re check my vitals. I took my blood pressure when I got home and it was 78/20. At least I know how to increase my blood pressure. Almost 4 hours in ER and no on registered me. Horrible experience all around. It could have killed me their mistakes.
